From Montréal (150 km, two hours by car)
Take Highway 40 East. At exit 166, take the direction of Louiseville.
In the city centre, take road 349 toward Saint-Alexis-des-Monts.
From Quebec City (200 km, two hours and a half by car)
Take Highway 40 West. At exit 174, take the direction of Louiseville.
In the city centre, take road 349 toward Saint-Alexis-des-Monts.
From Trois-Rivières (65 km, one hour by car)
Take the direction of Saint-Etienne-des-Grés, then Saint-Boniface-de-Shawinigan and continue toward Charrette.
Cross the village to arrive in Saint-Paulin. There, go to Saint-Alexis-des-Monts.
In Saint-Alexis-des-Monts
In front of the church, turn left and follow the direction Sacacomie Hotel. After 6 km, turn right at 'Auberge Sacacomie'. Continue this road for about 2 km.
The log-cabin is located on the left of the road at the top of a rise (after the municipal dock boats).
In the centre of Saint-Alexis-des-Monts, you will find many facilities (less than 10 minutes): Supermarket (Intermaché, 6AM - 9PM), convenience store, micro-brewery (tavern), butcher shop, church, hairdresser, post office, tourist home, restaurants, bars.
